PMA | ASI Questionnaire - CIC on MLC

We would like to inform you about the latest Merchant Marine Notice (MMN), MMN-01/2024, issued by the Panama Maritime Authority (PMA) in order to provide information to all parties involved about the new ASI Questionnaire regarding the Concentrated Inspection Campaign on MLC.

The purpose of this new ASI questionnaire is to determine the level of compliance with the MLC, in order to prepare the ships for the Port State Control Concentrate Inspection Campaign, which will be held from September 1st until November 31st of 2024; and additionally, to improve the planning maintenance to ensure the safe operation of ships.

All Panama Flag State Inspectors shall perform this additional survey based on the mentioned questionnaire during the Annual Safety Inspection (ASI) from March 01st to August 31st of 2024.
